Profil demandé

- Retail and/or Customer Service experience at least 3 years at management level
- Ability to communicate & build relationships effectively across differing cultures and societies
- Team player with an ability and desire to develop others
- Ability to drive the company through strong interpersonal skills with a “can do” attitude
- Preferably knowledge of the retail or consumer goods industry
- Fluent English
- Preferably some knowledge of Sub-Saharan Africa
- B.S. or B.A. or equivalent in work experience.

Missions du poste

We require a proven Managing Director who will manage the operations in Ghana, airport and Diplomatic shops and promote commercial activities. The Managing Director will report to the Business Unit DCOO and Area Operations Manager.
As such the key activities and outputs for the work stream include:

- Participate in determining the correct sales strategy for the company
- Participate in the determination of the investment and development plan
- Develop all necessary actions to ensure that objectives are met within set budget
- Define all commercial criteria to be applied in the shops (Lay out, Pricing, Promotions, …) in coordination with Marketing and Category Management
- Ensure that decisions and recommendations from BU management are applied in shops.
- Daily visit point of sales
- Ensure that a high standard of customer service is implemented
- Ensure that shops are run in accordance with legal rules, technical specifications as safety regulations
- Establish and maintain procedures of the group
- Ensure that there is a positive and good work ethos in all shops. Identify and implement necessary trainings within the shops
- Ensure that all staff and material are present in accordance with the activities requirements
- Follow sales evolutions and analyse figures to prepare weekly and monthly activity reports
- Ensure a correct level of reporting from shops
- Guarantee the correct implementation of promotion.
